Although today most publishing Web platforms offer friendly user interfaces and simple graphical markup for development elements, you will sooner or later need to edit the code manually.
Edit HTML or CSS code directly – the only way to have full control over the appearance of your blog. It also allows you to extend (add) functionality such as bookmark buttons, post forms, ad units, etc.
The simplest (and perhaps most effective) way to change code is to use a simple text editor, such as Windows Notepad (notepad). But who has encountered it in the work, know that to work with the code in this text editor is very uncomfortable. Therefore, I want to recommend you another, quite professional text editor with open source Notepad + +.
Notepad + + is as easy to use as a traditional notepad, but it’s packed with a lot of very useful features. For example:
- Text highlighting and the ability to collapse blocks, according to the syntax of the programming language (HTML, CSS, C++, PHP, XML, etc.)
- Technology drag ‘ n ‘ drop (picked up and tossed)
- Writing and running a macro Notes
- Find part of text in a file group at the same time
And, thanks to the system of plugins, you can extend the functionality of the editor.
You can download Notepad + + here.
